The Centre for Vision, Speech and Signal Processing (CVSSP) is one of the major research centres of the School of Electronics and Physical Sciences of the University of Surrey. Its aim is to advance the state of the art in multimedia signal processing and computer vision, with a focus on image, video and audio applications.

The Department of Psychology at the University of Surrey is one of the top centres for research and teaching in the UK. The department is a vibrant, active part of the university. We are one of the top ranked departments in the country for graduates entering employment. We are also one of the largest providers of postgraduate training in the UK.

Sited within the UEA Science Faculty, the School houses research labs dedicated to virtual environments, speech, colour and computational biology.
