Manor Park, University of Surrey
We still have a small number of Band D Ensuite Bedrooms, including breakfast, at £40 per night on the University of Surrey Manor Park Campus. These bedrooms can be reserved for one or multiple nights between Sunday 1st July – Friday 6th July 2018 inclusive, and are allocated on a first-come-first-serve basis due to limited availability. If you would like to stay on campus, please email our Events Team at FASSevents@surrey.ac.uk with the subject “LVA/ICA2018: Manor Park accommodation enquiry”, and give (a) your name, (b) registration booking reference and (c) your dates of stay (arrival date, departure dates, and number of nights). The Events Team will check room availability for you. Please note that we cannot guarantee room availability.
Manor Park is a short bus ride or 21-minute walk to Stag Hill campus where LVA/ICA 2018 will be held. Keys will be available for collection from the Manor Park Reception from 3pm. The reception is open from 08:00 to 23:00 weekdays and 10:00 to 16:00 weekends. Outside of these times security can be contacted using the telephone which is provided in the Manor Court reception area in order to issue your bedroom key. Please still head to the Manor Park Court Reception and use the telephone provided in the reception area. If you have any problems or cannot get connected using this phone then you can call directly on the number 01483 68 2002 - this will come through to our main security team which are based at Stag Hill Campus and they can radio across to Manor Park security staff to assist. You do not need to report to security at Senate House/Stag Hill Campus and can head directly to the Manor Park court reception when you arrive in Guildford.
Access to bedrooms is not guaranteed before 13:00 and you are requested to vacate your room by 09:30 on your day of departure. Breakfast will be available for guests at Heart + Soul located within the Manor Park Reception Building.
Toiletries will be provided in your room on arrival. Bed linen, towels, tea/coffee are provided, but we do not supply hair dryers. A kettle, iron, ironing board, fridge and microwave will be located in a nearby communal kitchen. Wi-Fi will be available during your stay (see the back of router for connection details). Please be aware that smoking is permitted in designated smoking shelters only. Please refer to the notice board within the accommodation for the location of these.
Any queries during your stay can be directed to the Court Reception, contact number 01483 686993 During court reception closure hours, you can visit the security office located at Senate House (Stag Hill campus) which is open 24/7 or call 01483 682002. For all emergencies at any time of day, please call security on 01483 683333. This includes requests for emergency services as security will be able to provide immediate assistance and direct the emergency services to your location on campus.
